"We arrived at the very end of June and there was still plenty of snow to play in! Such a unique experience in the middle of summer. There’s no AC in the rooms, which I didn’t realize and it was pretty warm at night. Just something to note. It’s a beautiful, quiet spot and the staff are all really friendly. If you need a break from the summer heat, for sure check it out!"
"We did not realize that there would not be air conditioning, but we were grateful for a fan. If we closed the drapes that cut off airflow from the window, but we improvised and used a lamp to pull the curtain away from the window at the open end.
We used the hot tub every night. Towels and changing room were provided, and water extractor for swim suits was helpful. We enjoyed the picnic tables outside our room, and picked up food from the local bakery that we enjoyed for meals there."
"The meals were very tasty and the community tables enjoyable. We met many nice people with interesting stories and good tips on hikes at our table, which changed up during our 3 day stay as guests came and went. It was fun running into table mates here and there. The Thursday talk in the living room, by a very funny and knowlegeable guy on local birds, was a treat. Interesting cocktails at the little bar and tasty snacks to go with it. Not having WiFi exept at "the shed' was just fine! The lake and mountains are of course spectacular. The mosquitoes on the hike to the falls were equally spectacular....bring repellant!"
"Fantastic cabins in the mountain that are well maintained.
The staff is friendly and helpful.
If you like to hike, order a togo sandwich the night before, well worth it.
Don't miss dinner, the food is so fresh and flavourful, it was an excellent meal.
Well done and would definately stay again."
"Perfectly located, beautiful setting!!!
Our cabin was clean and comfortable with cute and very efficient kitchen. Too warm for the fireplace, but it was all set and ready to go if weather turned cooler. Staff was excellent!
Little store had a very nice selection of items!
Highly recommend a stay here!!!!!"
