「We stayed at Mariposa when we arrived to Placencia and the last night before we returned home and it was perfect. Gladis was very welcoming at the reception, Donny was amazing at the restaurant and all the staff were friendly and very helpful. The bungalow was perfect for our family of 4, since they have bunk beds. The restaurant was good with a nice view of the ocean. They have nice swings, volleyball court, paddle boards and bicycles which is perfect to go in town. It’s less than 5 minutes...

「Our family stayed on the beach side, in one of the 3 bedroom villas. It was perfect for our family of six. We enjoyed the easy direct beach access, sitting in the hammocks on our porch, and swimming at the two pools. Sargassum is a problem along the entire peninsula, so we didn't swim much in the beach. When we did swim at the beach, the property had paddleboards and kayaks that we got to use. The property overall felt like a tropical oasis. The ambiance at the Laguna restaurant was romantic...

「The best of both worlds! This property is stunning, and it really offered the best of both worlds. We were able to experience resort-style amenities and service, while enjoying the space of an AirBnB. Our suite was huge and gave us ample room to enjoy ourselves. It was nice to be able to cook some meals in the suite, although they could definitely stand to upgrade their kitchenware. The pool is huge, and we really enjoyed the swim-up bar.
