「Our family stayed on the beach side, in one of the 3 bedroom villas. It was perfect for our family of six. We enjoyed the easy direct beach access, sitting in the hammocks on our porch, and swimming at the two pools. Sargassum is a problem along the entire peninsula, so we didn't swim much in the beach. When we did swim at the beach, the property had paddleboards and kayaks that we got to use. The property overall felt like a tropical oasis. The ambiance at the Laguna restaurant was romantic...

「Staff is always friendly. We felt like we were with family the entire trip. It is quiet yet only 20 minutes to town. The entire menu at the restaurant is delicious」

「We stayed at Mariposa when we arrived to Placencia and the last night before we returned home and it was perfect. Gladis was very welcoming at the reception, Donny was amazing at the restaurant and all the staff were friendly and very helpful. 「We loved our stay in the Turtle room! We had a last minute change in our itinerary and needed a place for only one night... But we wished we had more time at this spot! The owners are very kind and responsive. The room was very comfy and cozy. I appreciated all the shelving in the rooms and bathroom. AC worked great.
