The owner is extremely polite, very helpful, accommodating, and a great cook - breakfast was absolutely delicious! The room was very clean and tastefully decorated. The shared kitchen is right next to the room we were in, with a side door for easy exit and entrance. The living room area is also beautiful. I would absolutely recommend this B&B to anyone. It is quiet, affordable, and accommodating. 5/5

A quirky B&B with lots of character and convenient parking. One star deducted for the very low water pressure in the Moroccan Suite (it’s in the furnished attic). The Moroccan Suite does have the benefit of having its own, private bathroom while the rooms on the lower floors share a common commode.

There was no breakfast...it is served Sat and Sun only; found that out after checking in and wandering into kitchen to find a glass There was 1 parking space as advertised; had to park on street; while enroute was emailed a code to get in..it was all self service; never met the 'host', unless it was a man in a room just off the kitchen (who knows). A couple across the hall were loud into wee hours of morning; my room had a bath..toilet with sink outside in bedroom; 1 shower for what I counted ..5.. rooms. However, bed was comfortable and 'clean'... I can't complain about that, but it was not what I expected from a B&B; Guess you get what you pay for...but not knowing the area, had little choice. Would not stay again..would drive to some town with a hotel

Als wir gebucht hatten, war es für uns nicht ersichtlich, dass die Unterkunft nur ein gemeinsames Badezimmer hat! Das ganze Haus wirkte unheimlich auf uns! Als mein Mann mit dem Eigentümer telefonierte, der neben dem B&B wohnt und ihm erklärte, dass es uns nicht bewusst war, dass nur ein gemeinsames Badezimmer vorhanden war und wir um eine Rückerstattung gebeten haben, die man uns verneinte, waren wir auch sehr enttäuscht, dass der Eigentümer noch nicht einmal das persönliche Gespräch gesucht hat, zumal er, wie schon erwähnt, nebenan wohnt und wir mit ihm nur telefonisch kommunizieren konnten. Kein Kundenservice! Für uns war klar, dass wir keine Nacht dort bleiben würden!

I intentionally waited a few days to post this. I have never posted a negative review. This is a very old building with, believecitvir not, skeleton keys for the individual rooms. I went out to dinner and came back and could not open the lock. After 15 minutes of trying i texted the owners who are not onsite and the entire process seems to be remote. After a few minutes with no response i texted them again and questioned their dedication to customer service. A minute or two later a man stormed onto the scene and was extremely mad. He immediately verbally attacked me for qyestioning his dedication to customer service, told me he was not responding because he was out walking his dog and, as he was having difficulty himself opening the room, suggested that i had broken the 100 year old lock. When i countered that perhaps it might have something to do with the ancient mechanism itself he became even more upset. If you like old houses that are clean, have one bathroom to be shared by 4 bedtooms and is run by a couple of exciteable middle age men then this place us for you.
