「Love this place but when it comes to Summer time I wish the lazy river and pools were doubled. There’s so many people. I love it though. Clean up was lacking around the pool area (cups and towels everywhere) were piled up and I had to throw stuff away to make room for my family. Other than that, always fun, relaxing and amazing!」

「This is one of the best B&B's I and my wife have stayed. The walk in shower is truly amazing and has a door that opens out into the private porch area and hot tub. The breakfast is really delightful and plentiful. The hosts are great people and they will leave you in peace if that is what you want. We chose to visit with them and had pleasant conversation. We highly staying here you want peace and tranquility. It is such a lovely gem in the woods! 」

「The staff were helpful and friendly. The decor was fun and inviting and the lobby was actually a place you wouldn't mind hanging out in, in fact quite a few people were. The breakfast options were great and the setup was clean. The biggest downsides I had during my stay is no one came by to clean my room in my 5 night stay. And when I checked the bed to be sure it was clean, the platform that the mattress sat on had a bunch of dust and hairs on it which made the bed feel dirty. Who wants to...

「Was very disappointed that the pool area was not maintained and the hot tub was broken and very dirty. The breakfast was ok but not much to choose from. Staff was very friendly, helpful and nice.」

「The hotel and room were so clean! The lobby was well kept and smelled clean too. The breakfast was also full of a variety of items for adults and kids, and the coffee was so good! By far the best hotel coffee we’ve had. The only “issues” we had were our AC made a rattling noise and the bathroom didn’t have an exhaust fan, so when we showered, it was VERY steamy. Other than that it was fantastic.」

「We stopped in for the night in passing through. Myra was the front desk attendant & bartender. She was very friendly, helpful and professional. She went above and beyond to help us kick off our vacation. We would definitely stay at Hawthorne again. The facility was very clean, super comfortable bed, great customer service! Reasonably priced as well. Thanks again!」

「The property condition was okay, except when the remodeling was finished, the top of the refrigerator was about 1/4 thick with dust and dirt. Also, no toilet paper was present in the restroom. The check-in staff was good However they were not very accommodating when we requested additional towels.」
