"This review is tricky because the property was beatiful, fantastic view and two patios to use. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom was updated and very nice. However, there were ants everywhere. All over the kitchen, bathroom, sinks toilet, towels. We told the property owners but they were not concerned and just gave us a ant repellant spray. The spray killed the ants but they were always back the next day. Also, the check in was less than smooth. We weren't sent any details prior to our...

"Great location. Great de or and feel. The AC tripped a breaker. The second upstairs shower did. Not drain correctly. The main bathroom toilet has problems with the small flush. The downstatbathroom would not stop flushing unless you played around with the buttons. Mattress was a bit too firm. Otherwise great place to stay. "

"Located away from Amalfi so that you can experience the 'real' Italian culture. Hosts were amazing - were given fresh figs and lemon profiteroles left over from a local wedding in the church next to the property. Great views of Amalfi and excellent outdoor spaces for relaxing in the evening. You do need to be physically fit as there are lots and lots of stairs - 300 down to the local village. You can arrange for the local donkeys to carry your luggage to the villa which is needed! "

"There is a 15-20 minutes hike uphill/stairs from meeting point to rooms. making difficulty for elders and family with little children go in/out of rooms to explore Positano. Place is located next door to a cementery and outdoor furniture and area was infested with ants. Had to leave after first night and didn’t get refund by owner because of “her policy”. "

"Stay here for a night before I headed over to the islands. It was conveniently located near the train station and ferry. It was clean and stocked with amenities in the bathroom. It is an older hotel, but it has a wonderful charm, and it has breathtaking views of Mount Vesuvius. The service was great as well. Nothing bad to say."
