"I would avoid booking this hotel for the following reasons;
- they “upgraded” our room which felt like a downgrade, we didn’t need more floor space.
- they carried our suitcase by the wheel which broke it.
- Rooms were tidy but not really clean, more like a serviced apartment where it depends on how the person before left it.
- breakfast was very limited.
- they forgot to charge
Some positives;
- one reception staff member was really nice
- pool and gym were decent (indoor pool)
- it was reasonably cheap, but so were lots of other options. "
"I’ve been fortunate enough to stay in many 5 star hotels across the world, this is one of my favourites. The staff, history and atmosphere create a sense of effortless elegance that other hotels just can’t replicate. "
