There is minimal disruption of hotel operations due to renovation of the front of the hotel. Hotel rooms are nicely designed and functional. Staff are helpful and knowledgeable ot eh area. Great location in the heart of University city, within walking distance to U of Penn and CHOP hospitals, 30th Street train station and downtown area.

Hotel is next to the Unniversity of Pennsylvania campus. Very convenient if you are going to the school for whatever reason. Also near Drexel. Property is being totally renovated. Rooms are all redone. Still need to finish the reception and dining room/bar. Highly recommend. Staff is excellent.

The staff was very helpful and friendly. The hotel posted a notice that an emergency fire alarm would be going off at 10am. We were awoken by this alarm at 7:30 am and it went off intermittently for the next 2 hours. This is not the fault of staff but of a hotel that takes its guests for granted.

The room was great! Everything was clean and there are lots of neat amenities like a nightlight in the bathroom and a magnifier mirror by the bathroom sink. Staff were great and we were given complimentary access to the guest lounge on the 20th floor, which provided soft drinks in the evening and a hot breakfast in the morning.
