「Udefra var hotellet et ganske almindeligt Waldgasthaus, men man fik et chok, lige når man trådte ind på hotellet. Det lignede en indretningsarkitekts mareridt, men da det første chok havde lagt sig, var hotellet et dejligt sted. Værelset var stort og vedligeholdt - når man så bort fra de rædselsfulde vægge. Personalet var venlige, og både aftensmaden og morgenmaden var helt i top. Jeg vil tro, at hotellet tidligere havde været et ganske almindeligt hotel, men at nogle nye ejere var gået amok i...

「We were made to feel so welcome(and our two fur babies). The staff were so friendly and accommodating throughout our stay. Special shout out to Maria our very own dog whisperer. Breakfast was lovely, plenty to choose from. Parking was fab. Plenty of restaurants within walking distance. The room was huge, plenty of space for us and our two dogs, overall a perfect little place for all your needs. Thanks to all the staff for helping us out during our extended stay.」

「The hotel was built in the 1960’s and appears to be mostly original, very mid-century. Everything was very clean. The hostess is very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was excellent and included eggs, pancakes and bacon made to order. The location was great for us as it was walking distance to everything, including the train station. Like most places, English is spoken.」

「A wonderful hotel with a view that could not be matched in the area. The room was comfortable and the air conditioning was a godsend as it was quite warm outside. The view from the terrace should not be missed. 「Great location, spacious room, comfortable beds, very nice restaurant on premises, and a wonderful breakfast buffet. Overall a very pleasant experience. Important - if you're driving, the am Frucktmarkt address will only get you close due to pedestrian only zones. There is a parking garage in back (with a different address) that has direct access to the hotel - call ahead and get that street address and save yourself a walk.」

「Ein ganz toller Aufenthalt! Wir haben uns von Anfang bis Ende sehr wohl gefühlt. Im ganzen Haus steckt viel Liebe zum Detail und ganz viel Charakter kombiniert mit Modernem. Klare Empfehlung! Alle Mitarbeitenden waren super freundlich und zuvorkommend und mit dem Frühstück waren wir ebenfalls sehr zufrieden. 」

「Just back from a visit to Idar-Oberstein. Parking was easy, I arrived after 10pm so reception was closed but a staff member was able to quickly get me checked in. Room was perfect for my stay. Hotel is close to the Felsenkirche and castles. The Norma shop is 2 minutes walk away and there are several places to eat in the square.」

「Super Preis Leistungsverhältnis. Sehr sauber, sehr bequemes Bett. Einziges Manko ist dass es keine Klimaanlage und keinen Kühlschrank gibt. Bei heißen sommertemperaturen fehlt das aber ansonsten alles bestens 」
