「We have stayed at this hotel for the past 5 years and have seen the transformation that has occurred over recent times. My sister and I stayed with our elderly mother for 5 nights. I have to say that the staff at this hotel are exceptional. So friendly, kind and hard working. The half board menu was delicious and couldn’t fault the food. The rooms are of a high quality and whilst there was no availability this time for a mobility access room we found the ground floor room perfect for mums...

「This is our go-to lodging when attending the opera at Glyndebourne. A wonderful, country house in Uckfield, set on beautiful, expansive private grounds. Comfortably and exquisitely furnished, it is always a pleasure to arrive and occupy the spacious common rooms and assigned bedrooms. As frequently encountered in England, old properties may lack some modern amenities Americans are used to like air conditioning and convenient USB charging ports. Televisions are dated; rooms do not have clocks....

「Easy check in process. We were walked to our room and everything explained to us. Room was well decorated and clean. Tea, coffee and biscuits in room. Bottled water too. As it was warm we had the windows open therefore there was some noise from the courtyard and street. This was quiet between 11pm and 7am (Sunday night). Great quality breakfast with friendly staff. Continental pastries, toast, fruit, yoghurt, etc. Hot menu options also available. Easy check out process. Would recommend.」
