「Malta is an exotic place for me. The hotel is located very near the airport, with about 15 minutes of walk. A taxi ride would be only 5 minutes. But directions are not clear and almost all the buildings were closed and looked all the same so it was rather difficult to find the place. The young attendant at the front desk was kind and polite. But his duty hours were between 6am and 3pm only. That means any one arriving after 3pm needs to follow the clues left on the door to open the gate and...

「This is a lovely 6 room boutique hotel. It has everything you need for a sightseeing stay. The room decor is quirky. All done to an individual style. On the roof is an honesty bar. It is well stocked and has a great view. You pay for what you have taken on checkout. It is a short downhill walk to the ferry to Valletta and bars and restaurants on the harbour. 「I had an emergency where I needed help at 5:30am. They sent someone over in ~5mins. They were a lifesaver AND while Talbot staff helped me the Uber left! (and still charged me the full fair) AND Talbot then drove me to the airport. They went above and beyond for me and I’m incredibly grateful. This was the end to an incredibly memorable visit to Malta. 」
