The hotel has an excellent location in Valletta. Central but quiet. The staff are very caring and are anxious to please. They are very good at making recommendations and suggestions. The room was very comfortable with all the necessary amenities. Breakfast was made to order with a good selection available. We had the hotel's private chauffeur for the day who showed us things about Malta we would not have been aware of. As part of this the hotel organised a private wine tasting at Ta Betta vineyard which was lovely. Overall we would highly recommend the hotel.

A wonderful place to stay. This attractive hotel is in an excellent position to make the most of exploring Valletta and wider - providing a welcome relief from the midsummer heat. The staff are knowledgeable, friendly and bend over backwards to help. The terrace is a lovely spot for an early evening drink. Everything is clean and well thought through. It made for a fabulous 3 night break.

An Absolute Gem in Malta – Exceptional in Every Way! Domus Zamittello is truly something special. Housed in a beautiful historic building, this hotel combines old-world elegance with impeccable cleanliness, outstanding service, and a warm, welcoming atmosphere. The breakfast à la carte is fantastic, the building is stunning, and everything is beautifully maintained. But what really makes this hotel stand out is the staff. Every member of the team is friendly, attentive, and genuinely committed to making your stay special. When we needed help finding a doctor, they were incredibly helpful and supportive. That kind of personal care makes all the difference, especially when you’re away from home. You can find beautiful buildings and lovely breakfasts in many places, but it’s the people who turn a good hotel into an exceptional experience. Domus Zamittello gets this absolutely right. Do yourself a favor and stay here! It is worth every penny, and we would return without hesitation. A truly five-star experience that we can wholeheartedly recommend.

The team at Domus Zamittello are amazing and wicked attentive! The breakfast was above and beyond with a wonderful mix of speedy and leisurely food options- their fresh squeezed orange juice was our favorite throughout our stay. The room was complete with all that we needed for our stay and then some! Given it is located right in the heart of Valleta, it was easy to get to public transport (bus, ferry, and ride share for sure since that was what we used) that made our exploration so much easier. Overall, would definitely stay again! Thank you, Domus Zamittello team for making our travels so easy!
