「Debra and Drew were very welcoming hosts. We used The Barn as a lauch pad to visit Chartwell and Knole. Perfect choice. The accommodation was beautifully decorated and impeccably clean. We were spoilt for choice regarding local eateries. We chose The White Hart for dinner and it was top knotch. 」

「The room was a bit dated with a lot of “brown furniture” and could do with a little update. This was a little disappointing but did not detract from the overall state of the room. The staff were very attentive and nothing was too much effort or trouble. They were friendly and welcoming. We had the “full English” which was well present, full of flavour and hot. 「The staff were all very good but at times a little pushed to see to everything. Our room was roomy but not particularly clean, cobwebs on windows, dirt and dusty skirting and all areas upon high had a good layer of dust. One bulb out at bedside and marks on wall and skirting that could be wiped off. Bed linen and towels were clean and soft. Shower and sink clean but toilet was not!!! Passage way to and from dining room smelt of cooking grease all the time that would suggest extractor filters...
