We had a lovely stay and the staff were really lovely and friendly. Only a couple of negatives was the room was very hot but a fan was provided so not really a issue and the lovely breakfast was cooked to order but could have been a bigger portion. My husband had beans on toast and there was hardly any beans and just one piece of toast. We got more toast but had to wait a few minutes for it.

Room was newly renovated. We stayed in room 12. Nice furnishings and nice bathroom. Bed was comfy. Breakfast was good. The only thing we wish is we should have been warned that there was renovations going on downstairs. As it started at around 8:30am and it was very, very noisy. Good thing we hadn’t wanted to sleep in.

This popular pub/hotel was busy on the Friday night we stayed, but that did not detract from the service. Our room was provided with two fans and so it was nicely cool. The TV was not working, but the manager succeeded with one channel. The B & B breakfast was very good and vegetarian/vegan/ gluten-free options were available. There was a garden area (busy on a Friday night) with a pizza shack and children’s playground. All in all a very good experience for us two elderly people.

Lovely overnight stay for morning Gatwick flight; perfect for Cophall airport parking (300m away!) Staff very friendly and welcoming. Gorgeous food in bar for dinner. Really nice room & comfy bed. Only disappointment was that breakfast not available until 8am, which we had paid extra for when booking, not realising this - we had to leave by 8am.
