「Easy check-in, excellent staff, good bar area (again, excellent staff). Very good food, super local brews. Comfortable bed, great breakfast. Oh, and nice beer garden to boot. Would come here again and, if I lived locally, it would definitely be a regular haunt. Staff are superb.」

「Generally the rooms are to a high standard. The breakfasts are excellent, and the staff really friendly. Easy car parking. Only quibble is that we tried to book another 2 day stay, the system didn’t allow this - wanted 3 or more: this may vary with time of year.」

「We had a very warm welcome from the friendly staff and were shown to the room which was clean and bright. The food that evening was excellent, and as it was a warm evening we spent a pleasant time sitting outside with our drinks afterwards. 「we were put in a top floor room in the school masters house which unfortunately was closest to the main room which could noisy at times. Breakfast was good altho there seem better options on Saturday than Friday eg Fresh fruit/fruit salad. Staff in the Breakfast Room were attentive and worked were hard 」
