"Been here before,clean room and such a nice bathroom too,not far from Matlock Bath and Matlock.Have recommended to friends and relatives."

"Accomodation was larger than it looks in the photos, which was a nice surprise. The beds were comfortable, however I would take earplugs as I struggled to sleep due to the cars going past outside. I had to go and buy some from the town centre. At night the cars whizz past really fast. The listing states that there is free parking but this isn’t true- you have to pay for it. I have asked Hotels.com to amend this as it’s false advertising. The reason we booked this hotel was for the free parking!!! Luckily we got parked ok in the train station car park but had to pay £15 per car. In the afternoon however the car park soon fills up and people drive up and down looking for a space. We’d stay here again due the location and the charm of the building. "

"Nice enough but wasn't really worth what I paid for it. 4 poster bed was rickety and loose, only had half a roll of toilet paper, and the bathroom looked like it was in desperate need of a makeover and bath label was hanging off. Staff were nice but the building and it's facilities desperately need updating."
