The road conditions were terrible, it is a very large property and you really have to drive everywhere the roads needed a lot of work due to potholes. The best part was going to playa blanca. "Plenty of parking although the resort was kind of empty when I went. Good: Beautiful room(condo) on high floor with nice balcony and view of ocean..can't say enough about that. A/C in room and premises was perfect. Walk out of 100° outside and immediately into cool resort interior..Plenty of pool chairs/umbrellas so unlike Aruba, I didn't have to get up at 4am to grab one. Again it was kind of empty but I think there's plenty to go around. Plenty of food options on site including Stanz? a slightly higher end dinner place. Most staff was consistent and diligent although some appeared to be dialing it in..can't say I blame them. Dislikes: Bring your wallet! They nickle and dime you for everything. I was granted a late checkout yet they charged me $20 yet I spent thousands there🙄 You have to pay for drinks($15/each) while playing at their casino. So, you're putting $1,000s at risk and you're charging me $15 for a Vodka grapefruit? Seriously? It was kind of empty and I requested to extend my stay and the front desk woman gave me a ridiculous new quote..Went upstairs and re-booked on Expedia for 40% less..Seriously? They need savvy managers to intervene and override robotic front desk agents..very frustrating. All I could deduce is they don't really care if you revisit..$50 to bring up a guest with some lame reasoning..Seriously? All in all I enjoyed my stay but will be looking elsewhere if I return. "

"This hotel has great potential, but unfortunately it feels neglected and in need of a refresh. Staffing was minimal, and many of the team members seemed inexperienced. The pool was not well maintained—the water level was low, and it appeared to be leaking. Overall, it seems like the property is being kept at a basic operational level rather than being properly cared for. With some investment and attention, this could be a much better experience."
