A small hotel with lots of warmth and charm and in a great quiet location within a very short walk of the Champs Elysees. The most outstanding quality of staying here is the helpfulness and professionalism of all the staff who work at the hotel.
I had an exquisite time at the Norman. The room was excellent with all the comforts one could ask for: a comfortable bed, fantastic climate control, and for a tea drinker like myself, a wonderful high-tech kettle. Everyone on staff was kind, particularly Francis at reception. I would love to stay here again, a quiet gem just behind the city’s most famous avenue.
Beautiful property. The team is very professional and friendly from the moment you enter the lobby. Excellent location on the Champs Elysees. In the middle of the fashionable area, a short distance from one of the best shopping areas and the Arc de Triomphe de l'Étoile. 💯 recommend!
An absolute gem of a hotel! We were blown away by the service from first stepping in the door, the hotel is beautifully designed and very calming colours. A true boutique hotel! The concierge and front of house staff are all very nice and make you feel so welcome, the bar staff are also great. We unfortunately have very little French and this was never seen as an inconvenience.
We only has breakfast one morning and the staff were all lovely, the breakfast was well done and beautifully presented.
We were very kindly upgraded which was a delight and the suite was super spacious and well laid out. The only downside was there was no full length mirror or sockets in the bathroom for a toothbrush charger or shaver. There also wasn’t anywhere with a mirror that I could plug in my hairdryer/straighteners, which didn’t bother me too much but may be an issue for someone else.
The bed was so comfortable, soft bedding with a firm mattress. All of the in room amenities were luxurious and well planned out. Also loved the his and hers sizes of the bathrooms as opposed to a generic one size fits all along with the slippers.
The hotel is in a great location, lovely quiet street but just off Champs-Elysees and super convenient to walk to so many places.
Overall the quality of this hotel, the area it’s situated in and the price point make this a very attractive place to stay and we look forward to staying again.
This was a beautiful 5-star hotel with a ton of potential. I was so happy when i checked in. And it was a perfect spot. Near everything. The lovely man who checked me in was lovely.
On the first morning i was rudely turned away from breakfast even though i arrived 15 minutes before i was told it ended. I asked if i could just sit and have coffee and whatever was left on the buffet and was literally ushered out. Not only was i upset, but it got me feeling that way you sometimes feel in Paris. I sent a note to the hotel as i didn’t want to make a scene in the very small lobby. The manager and r me some chocolates and offered to comp my breakfast the next day, which was very nice. Then i had a series of events that would have been ok if there weren’t so many and they had been handled better. Housekeeping broke a coffee mug in my room and left shards of glass on the floor. When they came back to vacuum, they left behind tiny pieces. Then i ordered room service because they wouldn’t let me order food at the bar and i didn’t want to eat alone in the little romantic restaurant and i couldn’t get through for 15 minutes. No answer on a phone at a 5-star hotel. Eventually the desk person took my order and yes, got it wrong. I really do understand that things happen. And people make mistakes. But this was literally one thing after another for 3 days. It was beautiful. Bed was nice and comfy. But i wasn’t.
The hotel was surprisingly disappointing. The price point is too high.
There were technical problems in the room, tv didn’t work, No closet space and No iron. This hotel has a very small lobby and bar area. For this price -you can do better.
Beautiful property. The team is very professional and friendly from the moment you enter the lobby. Excellent location on the Champs Elysees. In the middle of the fashionable area, a short distance from one of the best shopping areas and the Arc de Triomphe de l'Étoile. 💯 recommend!
This is definitely not a 5 star hotel. Service and room was not at this level. We received a twin room despite booking a double and this was resolved by applying Velcro to join the beds which was incredibly uncomfortable and left us sinking between the gap. Tv was not working and despite raising the issue it took 2 days to fix. We had to ask twice for our bags to be delivered to the room (even offered to take them up or collect them ourselves) - we waited 45 minutes. There was a bathroom panel falling off in the room and the noise levels were significant as we had been put in a room with a connecting entrance. The hotel were fully aware of these issues and apologised but made no effort to rectify or compensate. I would unfortunately not recommend this hotel (especially given the price) and we would not stay there again.
Hotel had a ton of potential. So beautiful. But the service didn’t match. I was ushered out of breakfast even though i arrived 15 minutes before it was set to end. It started my trip off really badly. I emailed the manager and she offered me free breakfast (ironic) and then sent some chocolate to my room, which was very nice. But it didn’t get better. Housekeeping broke a coffee cup in my room and left shards of glass on the floor. When i asked if i could order my dinner at the bar as i didn’t want to eat in the small romantic restaurant solo, i was told no. So i tried to order room service. I called at least 10 times and got no answer. Finally the front desk picked up and took my order. And got it wrong. I understand that things happen. But not this many things at this $$ of a hotel. Not worth it
