I don’t usually write reviews but I was compelled by the fact I had such a great stay at the Moxie. Rooms are great, clean and as roomy as can be for Paris. Lobby is so inviting. Love the fact that reception is the lobby bar, great seating area, friendly staff, foosball, free coffee and breakfast. And finally in a great location walkable to cafes and restaurants or bike rideable to famous attractions. Oh, and very reasonably priced. Will miss you Paris & the Moxie. Darcy.

The staff was very nice and accommodating for the most part. The rooms were clean, but many things did not work. You have to create an account to use WiFi and even then, the service did not work most of the time. The tv went in and out. The pump on the soap, shampoo, and conditioner left in the room did not work and could not be used. They were never replaced. The bed was two mattresses pushed together, which made sleeping uncomfortable. The outdoor courtyard area closes at 10:00, but this was never communicated until a staff member yelled at us and another group of people for being out there. The lights were on, the doors were unlocked, and there was no sign in sight. It’s a good area and an ok hotel, but for the price we paid, I think that some of these things could have been better.

Myself and a friend came to Paris for 48 hours from London. I picked this hotel as I had such a positive experience with the brand in NYC just a few weeks ago. The team were super friendly and gave us recommendations for food & drinks spots, breakfast was quick & convenient in the lobby and the amenities of the room was just what we needed. Easy access to what we wanted to see of Paris and the Bastille area was perfect for drinks in the evenings! Will come back to Paris because of such a lovely experience and will look to stay with the brand in any city I now go to, it’s been excellent!

Fabulous location, fun decor, friendly staff! The room was a bit like an IKEA dorm room, but cozy and quiet. Super location near 2 Metro lines and buses. Also a great Sunday market right down the street!
