Not worth the money

due to the Olympic month, the hotel rate has gone up very high to approx. USD 330 /night. but beside the location of convenience with restaurants and bakery shop. Definitely not worth this price. The check in was just ok, the front office staff service was just ok, not welcoming, just "check in and go" type. One thing good is there are a bottle of 500ml evian water, a can of coke and an small OJ in the mini bar for free. not hotel type level, more like hostel style with thin blanket, A/C not cold and with fixed temperature, cant adjust on the dial.

Very friendly staffs and have various choices of drinks in mini bar. Overall it’s hygienic and the neighbourhood is safe and surrounded by good bakeries and restaurants. Slight noises between floors were heard but the hotel provided earplugs.

Lovely hotel with friendly and helpful staff. We had a lovely room in the back of the hotel that was very private and quiet. The rooms were cleaned daily, the bed very comfortable and other amenities included beverages in the in-room refrigerator, hair dryer, safe and toiletries. Would highly recommend - centrally located to shops, restaurants, and the train station. Will definitely return!

Initially, we were very disappointed with our room — we had reserved a room with a balcony and, instead, were given a below-ground room. It was completely unacceptable but cost us an additional €250 to get a room above ground!! The second room was okay — but the bathroom configuration was weird as the toilet was inside the shower and the bathroom was extremely small. The location of the hotel was wonderful for our trip — a 15 minute walk to the Eiffel Tower and many of the excursions we had pre planned. The Staff were all extremely helpful and friendly! After we got used to the idiosyncrasies of our room, we enjoyed our stay.

Tiniest most cramped space i’ve ever had to stay in. Worst hotel i’ve ever been to in my life. This hotel being 4 stars is an immense joke. The only reason I didn’t give it a 1 star is the idea location. Staff is friendly, cleaning is prompt. But its so small you can hear people walking down stairs (they were connected to the wall). The room is so tiny you could barely walk around the bed. I’ve literally seen bigger dorm rooms in college. You also cannot control the temperature. The options were to let the heat run till you’re hot as hell and then have to get up to open the windows which led to a loud and noisy street. I did this over and over again till we were comfortable. The sleep was terrible, I couldn’t get over how bad the room was, the bed was right next to the door and I could see the light from the hallway from how small it was. Biggest joke of a hotel. Do not book this unless you want to be disappointed. No offense to the staff or to the property owners. But these teeny tiny rooms should not exist to rent, they’re nearly unlivable spaces for people with any standards.

Paid over 300 a day to stay in a closet! Had to enter the bathroom with doors in certain positions so I could either use the sink or the toilet! If your FAT you will not be able to access the bathroom!

This hotel is in a fantastic location. You can stand in front of it and look up at the Eiffel Tower. It's close to restaurants, bars, shops, the river, and many cultural sites. We bought bread, cheese and wine from local shops and enjoyed them in the courtyard. There is a small gathering area where they offer breakfast and you can use to hang out throughout the day. Our "superior" room was very small, but comfortable and had a really nice (small) bathroom with an enclosed shower! It was a lovely base for our 4 days in Paris, and we would stay here again.

We loved our time at Hotel Saint Dominique. It is in a great location for walking to shops, restaurants, and the Eiffel Tower is prominent in the view right outside the front door. This is an old building with character and charm around every corner. As a disabled person with special needs regarding temperature control and accessibility, I learned how important it is to clearly list my needs at the time I make a reservation. You can not easily switch from Heat to AC so be aware of the season when you're booking. We arrived on the first day of spring and were fortunate the weather was amazing. We opened our windows and removed the down comforter from the Duvet Cover in order to sleep. The staff were extremely helpful once they understood my needs. If you have any special requests make sure to do that at the time you reserve your room. They are quick to respond to you and it helps them choose the proper room for you. Our room was off a small courtyard and felt very safe. It was quiet. We really enjoyed the neighborhood.
