The hotel is very convenient to Gare de Lyon, clean, and comfortable! The room was small - as advertised - but nicely furnished with a good-sized bathroom. I would definitely stay here again for a quick business trip on a budget.

We had a very enjoyable 2-night stay at the Prince Albert Gare de Lyon. Its location is convenient for the Metro and rail and was a good base for exploring Paris. Staff were friendly, and the room, though compact, was recently refurbished and clean with a very comfortable bed. There are excellent and good value restaurants within a few minutes’ walk. We’d definitely use the hotel again when visiting Paris.

Great hotel for proximity to Gare de Lyon; it's about a 3 minute walk. Also, there's a pharmacy a couple doors down and an ATM is about a city block away. Note that there's an excellent boulangerie at the end of the block from the hotel; lots of great-looking pastries and other goodies. The breakfast is decent. Be aware the rooms are small but adequate; pretty typical for hotels at this price point but it certainly met my needs. The bed is comfortable The staff are friendly.

The location of this property is truly fantastic, making it a very convenient choice. However, we did find the room size to be quite small given the price we paid for a double room. Despite this, the service, cleanliness, and staff were all very positive and welcoming. If you don't mind a smaller room and are looking for a conveniently located place with all the necessary amenities, this could still be a good option for your stay.

Someone tried to break into my window the first night I stayed. The windows were super secure and new. The security was really great and I felt safe despite the attempt. They do only have laundry services and not coin laundry facilities. I used laundry heap and it was pretty easy but expensive. The hotel was nice and clean, the staff was helpful and patient with my limited French. Lots of food and really close to Gare De Lyon.

Property is clean, the staff is professional and friendly. The rooms are very comfortable and clean. The neighborhood is walkable, there is public transportation. Note: if you don’t do public transportation and plan on using bolt-it is easy to get a pickup to the hotel but the return from tourist sites took about 20 min wait time for me. Bolt drivers linger and then cancelled at least four of my ride requests. But this was peak season and I found it easier to walk the 30 minute distance than wait for a 27 min bolt ride.

We loved our stay here. The staff was really nice and friendly (they spoke good English) and went above and beyond to make sure we had a good stay. Check-in and check-out simple and quick. The location worked out great for us as it is walking distance from Gare Du Lyon station. The room and bathroom was very clean and all amenities were on point. There were no bed bug issues either, which I was worried about due to all the news going on around Sept and Oct 2023. We were also worried about room thefts so we made sure to lock our stuff before leaving but otherwise I did not feel that the staff moved our stole our stuff as the small items like toiletries and chargers were in their place when we returned at night. The area felt safe and there were no disturbances at night. Do expect small stairways and elevators like other buildings in Paris but that did not bother us. Everything was perfect and if I'm ever in Paris again, I would stay here!
