The room wasn’t the most spacious I’ve ever stayed in but it was clean, quiet and comfortable and the staff were friendly and welcoming. Location was ideal, being walkable from Gare du Nord and close to Montmartre.

My hotel stay was lovely. The room was clean and well appointed. The bed was very comfortable and the room was a perfect size for a solo traveller. The staff at the front desk were all very friendly and helpful and even recommended the best Thai restaurant to me down the street. I had trouble with the AC the first night, just ask the front desk about the room temperature when you check in and all will be good! The location was also good, I could walk to the Seine in about 25 minutes and got a chance to explore less busy areas in Paris!

Super friendly hotel, great for exploring Paris

Super friendly staff, everything was a pleasure and done with a smile. Breakfast lacked in quantity and some days there was very little, and with no one around to replenish. Otherwise a very good place to stay for exploring Paris, and some special touches for our special occasion.

We liked most things about the hotel, including the friendly staff and excellent breakfast choices. One thing we particularly liked was the quiet, cool and efficient AC system. It was welcomed during a very hot week. We also liked the neighborhood, which was just far enough away from the touristy and loud Pigalle area. It's a nice neighborhood with cafes, restaurants and schools.

The staff was very friendly and the location was good - easy walk to both Gare du Nord and Gare l’Est, and just at the bottom of Montmartre. The room was cozy and comfortable. The rooms are close together, and there was a loud family nearby, but that’s not the hotel’s fault. I very much enjoyed my stay.

Great hotel near montmartre

A small hotel with friendly helpful staff. Well located, 15v minute walk from gare du nord, nearby metro and bus stops. Room and bathroom were small but very clean and comfortable. Bedding and towels were good quality. I appreciated the helpful staff who sorted out air conditioning problem. Nearby are lots of cafes and bars, shops and bakeries

This was an okay 2-star hotel, not 3 star as advertised. For $174 dollars a night, the TV should have worked and the aircon should have been better. As a typical 2-star, it was nice but very small. These hotels used to cost $85 bucks a night, maybe a $100 but ridiculous charging $174. The staff was nice.

I loved everything about this place. The staff was so helpful. I will definitely be coming here again. The beds are very comfortable. And the breakfast is just perfect, not too much, but too little, just right. Jenna, in the front desk is amazing. She gave me directions everyday. The area is totally safe. My son and I had so much fun in Paris. We're walking as late as 2:30 am in the morning on the streets. When the train and the bus stop working. There is a little mart down the street that you can purchase water.

We had a great stay at the Hotel Marena...room was very clean and the hospitality was fantastic. Good breakfast but the best was our concierge Eric. He was so pleasant to deal with and very helpful. He made our stay very memorable. The hotel is lucky to have him.

Friendly, quiet hotel in Pigalle

All of the staff at Hotel Marena were great. They helped us hold our luggage until check in, checked us in easily, and ordered a taxi for us to get to the airport. The room was clean and quiet, yet close to bars and restaurants in the area and just a short walk to Montmartre and metro stops. A great value.

Best hotel I’ve stayed in in Paris. Clean, comfortable, well equipped. Corridors can be noisy so take ear plugs but that’s my only complaint, which for Paris is high praise.

We had a wonderful stay . The hotel is located perfectly close to all the Paris spots you would like to visit such as the Chamse Elisee etc. I must thank the staff at Marena hotel especially Sana in the front desk that helped us with directions and recommended places to eat and also got us a late check out as our flight was leaving at night.
