it was fine but very noisy, even got woken up in the middle of the night by the fire alarm because one of the staff members burned their food. It's an affordable place but would probably not go back again
Sure the wifi doesn't work in your room and the desk's response is "oh, ok", but don't worry, you can entertain yourself figuring out what caused each of the many different stains on the walls, or why the plumber mixed up the hot and cold water so that hot water comes out of the tap marked blue and the toilet gets hot when flushed, or maybe identifying that smell (is it just stale cigarette ash, or what?)
Well I can’t say I didn’t expect it from photos,I was just hoping for a better place
It is in the middle of the city and price was cheap for the location but that was all.
Wifi wasn’t working, room was super hot, and in case of open window super noisy, no body changed the sheets or give us new towels in 5 days, no shampoo, and toilet condition was awful, I mean with 30€ more a night you can get a lot nicer place
However receptionist was a friendly man
water dripping from ceiling.
Internet not working in rooms
Hotel has people living in rooms and crying babies throughout.
Street noisy and room hot so no sleep
pillows are gigantic and can’t be slept on
small tile mirror unattached in bathroom
No effort by management and would never stay again
Got to the hotel to be told "We're full" even though I had booked and paid for the room in March, apparently there was "an error" (not explained what), only just discovered, despite 2 months of me having made the confirmed reservation, and so they didn't have a room. Worryingly, I booked same place also through Expedia for a date in July - is this also unilaterally cancelled? Poor customer service..
It was a very bad experience . Uncomfortable room with less features and Non-AC room. Terrible was bad smell coming out from the toilet to the bedroom always. Even the linen , towels and pillow was old and not looking good. Very bad service. We stayed on the fourth floor and we didnt even get WIFI over there.
Do not stay here. Staff were fine at check in. Had to climb a narrow staircase to get to room. Opened door and it smelt of cigarettes and something else very bad. You need to keep window open. Stains on wall and bedding including what i thunk was curry on the duvet. Pullows so high and hard you will get a bad neck. Towels dirty. Bathroom absolutly disgusting. And tou can hear everytime someone flushes the loo as there are at least 3 other toilet pipes comming into the bathroom. Shower head not attaced and has water coming iut of the side. Room was so bad (i have been in better places in 3rd world countries in the back end of nowhere that do bot cater for tourists). Nobody on reception at night or first thing in the morning. Room was that bad, decided to leave as soon as could so booked a coach to return home the following morning, couldnt talk to reception as there was nobody there. Rang expedia they were so helpful and got a full refund for the nights didnt stay.
TLDR
Highlights- staff and location were amazing.
Low points- cleanliness was non existent, and the water closest was rather revolting.
After reading other reviews, we were expecting the hotel to be small and probably not the cleanest. It was very small, which is fine bc we rly were only there to sleep and shower. The water closet on the other hand was dreadful. It smelled vile, was moldy, and there was a giant hole in the wall connecting it to our room. The shower head isnt connected to anything, so to wash longer hair comfortably, youll need a pal to hold the shower head up. The pillows for the bed more closely resembled couch cushions & were not comfortable to sleep with. I ended up just sleeping laying flat without a pillow bc it was more comfortable than using the ones provided. Our room was on the very top floor, and the stairs sucked, but we knew there was no elevator. Our room door didnt shut all the way, but it did still lock. The website said that the hotel has a restaurant, but it does not. Additionally, we were provided with 2 bars of soap so def bring your own. The staff was very kind and helpful. We checked in right on time, and the staff spoke both english and french with us. Everytime we ran out, the staff was downstairs to greet us when we came back. Honesfly, the staff was amazing. The walls are very thin, so we were woken up early every morning with other visitors trying to lock their doors.
😒besviken
