「Architecture and location are outstanding. Truly amazing. The Grotto suites are stunning. The views, to die for. The downsides are that the building is in need of a bit of maintenance with chipped and scratched plaster abounding. Our fridge was not clean but the linen was perfect. Lack of stair lighting to go to the main function areas is not great. Food in restaurants was good with large portions and welcoming, helpful staff. Highly recommend as a Kruger Park journey stop-over.」

「It has privacy and everything is top class in the room, I have no complaints surely I’ll come back again 」

「O quarto é bem grande, mas instalações antigas, é muito cheiro de mofo no quarto… bom pra ficar uma noite」

「Really wonderful overnight stay. Great value for money. Breakfast was also very good.」

「Eine tolle Unterkunft. Sehr zu empfehlen. Unser Zimmer war sehr groß und sehr toll eingerichtet.」

「The lodge sits on a hill, giving a nice view to any room! Clean room equipped with everything you needed.」

「Wonderful time, my husband and I always save this place for when we want to treat ourselves. Very comfortable bed and room. The food is fabulous!」

「The rooms are clean but the property has deteriorated since we stayed less than two years ago. No kitchen service or breakfast available. First room we were assigned was missing the toilet seat! We were quickly moved to another room but this should have been fixed before the room was made available to rent. The staff were helpful. We won’t book this place next time unfortunately.」

「Chambre propre. Serviettes propres mais usées et trouées. Literie médiocre. Personnel gentil. Petit déjeuner pas du tout à la hauteur. Petite assiette de salé. Pas de jus d’orange pas de beurre, pas de confiture. Café soluble et thé uniquement. Emplacement bien situé. Ok pour une nuit de passage mais pas plus.」

「Convenient place to stay, spacious room, comfortable bed. Decent breakfast.」
