This hotel can be rated lowly as lower standard of hostel. Rooms are dingy and terribly with totally comfortable bed and totally inadequate furniture and bag rack. Room was terribly low lighted and felt depressing. It felt like sleeping in an enclosed warehouse with fire extinguisher sprinklers. I think Expedia needs to do a better job at classifying the proper since this property was very rated which was not even close. No descent reception ambience and when we set in the reception we could literally see the dust dropping on us from the roof. Totally to have lived in such a property.

Overall the experience at the hotel was decent as it served its purpose. Was affordable if you’re looking for a unique/different hotel experience. However, be aware that the interior rooms don’t have windows and it has a slightly damp feeling and smell likely due to all of the concrete. I will say that there is a really awesome boujie restaurant on the rooftop so be sure to check it out if you’re looking for a social vibe. The music can be loud. We were on the bottom floor and were unbothered, however if you’re higher up on the 2nd floor noise may be a concern. The location is perfect as it’s just a few mins walk to the club/rooftop district and there are restaurants right next door. WIFI and Netflix worked great for downtime in the room but we tried not to spend too much time in there. Overall we rate it a 5/10. Probably wouldn’t stay there again but it was a cheap hotel for a couple nights in Casco Viejo.

We stayed here for one night and it was a great choice for a quick stopover. The location is absolutely perfect, just a few steps away from the old town, which made exploring very easy. The staff were friendly and welcoming, making us feel at home immediately. While the room was a bit on the small side and the walls were somewhat thin (you can hear some noise from the hallway), it was perfectly fine for a single night. Clean, convenient, and great service. Would definitely recommend if you want to be in the heart of Casco Viejo.

Hotel is very near the ocean and you can walk to a lot of shops within 15 minutes. A very nice rooftop pool and restaurant on the rooftop for lunch the day we checked out and they were very hospitable. We can recommend this to anybody don’t be afraid of the inexpensive hotel room price. It was excellent with stone walls in the interior and also in the rooms it has an elevator.

The people at the desk were very helpful and pleasent. The valet was amazing. We had trouble with unclean sheets. Everything else, location, air conditioner and room was great.

Super handy to all that Casca Viejo has to offer. Really funky poured concrete construction & finishing. Never seen anything quite like it and have seen a lot. Liked this unconventional hotel a lot.

Everyone was nice, the room was clean & the location perfect. I loved having a balcony. I didn’t like that the hallway light didn’t work well and that you had to walk through in the dark and that you could see laundry when you first walk in but it’s a small hotel perhaps they don’t have much space anywhere else. The room was cute though.

Love the location. Close to everything in the UNESCO quarter. Best coffees and best restaurants are just a few min away or next door. Hotel staffs are nice. Our room is small on the first floor. I actually like it because it is quieter than 2nd floor. Our room has air conditioner which is a much have for hot Panama weather. Although no breakfast, ice water is available all day and morning coffee is very good.

We had two rooms…both smelled but one clearly had a water issue and smelled like mildew and mold. When we inquired we learned that in the room above there was a HUGE water leak in the ceiling. This was affecting the room below which they had given us. The manager was not on property but offered us to cancel the room before midnight otherwise fees would be incurred. Mind you this was at 8 pm during carnival. There were no other hotels with a last minute even closely reasonable rates at that point. We had to sleep four people in a room meant for three because of the issue. Some of the people in our party have lung issues and we couldn’t risk a longer term issue. The hotel also neglected to mention that on their roof they have a club which stays open till after 2 am. So Saturday night there was no sleeping till well after 2 am because we might as well have been in the club with them.

Great rooms and location was perfect!. Right at the beginning of casco viejo so you can walk right into all the restaurants and easy enough to get an uber to go to any trips outside. Highly recommend!

Location was central. Bed was comfortable. Now if you like the Seven Dwarfs, Dirty, Dumpy, Dusty, Damp, Dingy, Dank, and Dungeon then by all means book this Dive.

The rooms were very tired and not very clean. Concrete floors, towels were very hard, no phone in the room to call desk, we had to beg for ice, the noise from the street and from the roof top bar was hard to have a decent night sleep. The wifi was cutting in and out and the tv was on a timer and shut down while we wetr watching a program. Would not recommend this hotel.
