Very clean, Walking distance to the different addresses of Casco Viejo, we live to the rhythm of the neighbouring restaurant-bar, and have the opportunity to rest after closing time
Such a great spot! The place was beautiful, extremely clean and a prime location! Our unit shared a common living room and kitchen with another room but we lucked out that it was our friends in the other room. Really great spot to stay, especially with a group. The wine bar downstairs was great, and all communication was super easy. Would definitely stay here again!
Perfect for me as solo traveler, at the old town and paid less than big fancy hotel, it is loud because the night club, but that's what happened in panama city, it will stop after 1 or 2, depend if its weekend or not, many choices for food, also cheap option, i try the local fast food chain call Pio Pio Chicken, it is better than KFC in Pansma city, and its open 24hr, less than 10 min walk.
Great location, very modern setup in each room with great balcony spaces on the second floor.
It does tend to get a little loud outside on the weekends, but otherwise a very comfortable place.
Pillows still had smell of previous customers, but otherwise all was good.
Property is at a very good location, staff went above and beyond. Rooms are self service with codes and easily accessible. Elevator is nice too. I do think the bar right on the second floor too loud music. If you looking to staying in Casco Viejo and party this is the place. If you looking to sleep early to catch a taxi this is not the place for you. For me they were good.
Excellent stay. Had slight problem regarding sleeping amenities but owner cleared up immediately. Beautiful. Stayed in unit 2. Lots of balcony space, nice common area, comfortable bed, clean. Great shower. Noise from street to be expected. Suggest buying coffee before you arrive. Only drawback was no futon. Did have an extra twin mattress. My roommate slept on common area and was super comfortable. Would highly recommend.
The property is centrally located in the old town of Panama City called Casco Viejo. Property is nice and small, and the rooms are located above the wine bar. Our room was small with the shower and the sink in the room with no rack for hanging the clothes. But Emilio, the manager was very nice and provided us with the rack to hang our clothes. Also, there is no safe in the room.
We were promised a room with city views but we were given a room with no light let alone any views. In addition the bed was approx 1 meter from the floor and very uncomfortable.
Property is across the street from a very loud bar that played heavy base techno music along with loud conversation until 1:30am. Neither Expedia nor the hotel website mentioned this or we would have stayed elsewhere. They knew the problem because they packed foam earplugs in with the bath towels. We had to get up for a tour at 5am so only got 3 hours sleep. We found a quiet hotel in the same neighborhood for our second night in Casco Viejo. I asked the hotel manager for a full refund, and he said he had to speak with the owner about that, but so far, no response from the owner.
The property had very stylish, if quirky, interior-design features that would look attractive in an avant-garde minimalistic way in magazine photos. Each room was different and had its own issues. Closet space was not provided in two of the rooms where we stayed, and it was hard to line up toiletries in the bathroom or even find convenient places to hang your towels. Our first night a smoke detector set off accidentally, triggering screaming fire alarms. Since there is no staff on the premises, it took an hour for the manager to come in from home to shut off the alarm. It was not easy to get extra towels or pillows after leaving messages. We came back after taking a side trip, and the second room we rented had a malfunctioning lock that kept us locked out of our room for 3-4 hours until a locksmith had to remove the actual door knob. We could still lock our room using the dead-bolt, and we felt relatively secure. But for the rest of the stay there was a hole in the door where the door knob used to be. We noted that another guest also had trouble getting into her room due to lock issues. Two floors below, there was a disco dance joint that blasted out extremely loud music way past midnight and we had to have the manager called to complain about this. On our last day, the elevator stopped working for several hours but luckily service was restored before morning. The worst issue was the lack of staff on premises with the exception of daytime cleaning ladies. Won't be returning.
My husband and I stayed at Corcho our first night in Panama! The room was easy to access. It is a wonderful location which allowed us to explore and try lots of fabulous restaurants. Thanks for a great stay!
