we well go back to this property in the future, it is a little dated but the rooms are good size and was built in the 50s with only 32 rooms all rooms facing the pool. I would call this property quaint

I have no complaints about this property, as this is one of the cheapest inns that is near the shuttle stop for Coachella. The pool is literally in front of our room, but we didn't even use it. There's a small cafe on the property that serves breakfast. It was so cozy, the vibe is so laid back, and if I were given an option to go back here, I would =) just because the other options out there were MORE EXPENSIVE, especially during APRIL.

I stayed for 2 nights and it was the perfect location to stay to visit Death Valley. I had one of the patio rooms which was nice to sit outside the room to watch the sunset or have your meal or cup of coffee in the morning. Would definitely stay here again.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ | Hidden Gem We Keep Coming Back To This has to be our 12th or 13th stay at the Otobee Inn over the last couple of years—and we make it a point to come back at least 3–5 times every year. That alone should say a lot. The decor is definitely a bit dated (think late 80s / early 90s), but honestly, that’s part of the charm. It has a cozy, nostalgic feel that’s hard to find these days. Most rooms come with a kitchenette, which is a huge plus for families—you can cook your own meals, and there are also two BBQ grills available. The pool is technically open 24 hours as long as guests are respectful, which adds a relaxed, trust-based vibe you don’t see often. The crowd is another highlight—most guests are friendly, and a surprising number are locals enjoying a staycation. It feels safe, welcoming, and very family-oriented. Great for kids, great for unwinding. Location is super convenient—just about a 5-minute drive to Uptown shopping and several other centers, so everything you need is close by. Now, if I’m being honest… I almost don’t want to recommend it (not trying to gatekeep… but kind of 😅). But seriously, it’s a great place to stay—very affordable, comfortable, and consistently welcoming. Big shoutout to Viviana at the front desk and the entire cleaning crew—they’re always kind, attentive, and make every stay even better. Looking forward to our next visit!

Excellent place to stay, staff were friendly, pool was open 24/7. I would definitely recommend. The only thing I would have liked different would be if cutlery and plates/bowls were provided. We went to the Albertsons, two minutes away, and bought some so it wasn't the end of the world. Am definitely planning on returning as they clearly care about the clientele.

This little place is a gem in the desert landscape. It’s clean, quiet, and a tad bit nostalgic. The bed was comfy, the air conditioner worked great, and we had a good size balcony. They had complementary water and snacks in the room. It was a nice touch. The only thing that you need to know is, if you have a difficult time with stairs, ask for a ground floor room. There is no elevator and the stairs are steep.

A very quaint and artsy hotel. Even has a small putting green near the hot tub and pool. Rooms are updated although there are still some older amenities from long past that you just won't find in newer hotels such as electric coil wall heater in bathroom, to built in exaust fan with pull string in kitchen. These features add to the great 60's vibe this hotel has to offer. Also is located in a great location if arriving using the 74 highway. I would stay here again.

Pools were very nice. The main hotel is super dated and not super well kept up. The villas across the parking lot were fabulous though and much cleaner and nicer. If you choose this hotel definitely go for the villas. Their pool is quieter and very relaxing too (near the villas)

Wow! I was a little skeptical at first when I was driving up, but when I checked in with Victoria, she was very helpful. She was very courteous and also recommended a couple restaurants that I went to. When I open my my hotel room. I was not expecting what I saw. It was huge very clean. Had a kitchenette with a full-size refrigerator. I definitely will be back. Great job deep Canyon.
