"The experience was amazing "

"We had a Dolphin Lanai for a week and it was amazing. The room was quiet, spacious and scrupulously clean. The entire staff resort were so helpful and courteous. Shuttle was convenient to downtown Waikiki. Beach was lovely. Hotel restaurants were delicious if a little pricey. "

"We stayed in an ocean front room as a couple. The view was fantastic and the staff was friendly. We requested a microwave which was handy and the refrigerator was free of unnecessary items. The use of beach items were a plus too. If you don’t like noise I wouldn’t recommend because the music at the restaurant on the third floor was pretty loud. Combined with the street noise beware. The rooms could’ve used a lot of updating as well. Things were hanging from the ceiling (not sure what it was… it looked like spider webs but they weren’t), there was mold in the shower and there was a lot of paint peeling from numerous areas."

"Bathroom setup was terrible with blinds in the window of bathroom was annoying. Shower was elevated and dangerous step down every time you got out of the shower. Why is there closets in the bathroom. Annoying!"

"Upon arrival, the front desk was overwhelmed and rude. The amenities are minimal for the $54 dollar daily charge. Upon an unpredictable storm our room flooded, we were forced to get a new room at a different hotel and when asked for a refund we were told “weather conditions.” During the storm the restaurants were closed, the power was out, there are no emergency generators and the front desk did not have an emergency plan. There are many hotels in the area consider a different option. Very disappointed. "

"The power was out when I checked in. this was not the fault of the hotel. Power was out all over Waikiki. The false alarm for a fire at 12am did not help. My really only advice is do not stay at the end of the building facing the river. The traffic noise was horrible. There was a fire truck, ambulance , or police sirens every 20-30 minutes that blaring as they go down Ala Wai Blvd. Not a peaceful stay.. The room was comfy.. Just not good for sleep on the 3rd floor.. Stay higher up if you can"
