Super friendly and helpful Tom the owner. Offered to help in all sorts of ways. Great central location, had everything that one needed. Would definitely stay again.
Tom and Rosie were outstanding hosts, courteous and helpful, nothing was a problem for them, the hotel and rooms were very clean and comfortable and at a reasonable price, we’re definitely be booking to go back when next in the area.
Lovely place and very friendly hosts Tom and Rosie. The location is great (walking distance to harbour, sea front and main street). Tom knows all the great places to see, drink and eat. I especially liked the harbour light, looking over the harbour with a nice glass of wine and some great food)
Great communication from the owner Tom from the beginning as he phoned us in the morning to help us navigate through the road closures due to the air show and thousands of people attending. Had a lovely stay, comfy bed and great location. Would recommend and visit again. Just how a family owned guest house should be.
Tom, Rosy and family were very accommodating to whatever was needed. Extremely friendly and willing to help in any way. We would definitely stay again!
Had a lovely 2 night stay in cosy 1 over the weekend ..Tom and Rosie were excellent hosts and very quick to reply to messages
Nothing negative to say as everything was as described ..everything was clean , comfortable beds and a great space to relax , close to everything and lots to do for the kids … We definitely recommend staying here and this will be our go to place when we are in Paignton again ..
Once again thank you Tom and family for being so welcoming

Served it's purpose
On arrival we pressed a button to get the attention of the manager who helped us to our room. On first glance the room looked lovely. The beds had fresh sheets on them and we had clean towels and tea and coffee facilities.
We only stayed 3 nights and it was fine as a base. Our room closer up was quite dusty and clearly needs updating but it was clean and served it's purpose! :)
Tom, our host was friendly and very helpful. We'd arrived early and wanted to drop off our suitcase before check-in time. He told us the room was ready and we could check-in now. That was very kind and much appreciated. He gave us a tour, several local recommendations and a free room upgrade which added to our enjoyment and the splendid weather. Breakfast was EXCELLENT and his chef training and experience was very evident. We have decided to return in the summer for a longer stay.
This was a nostalgic visit for us on our 50th anniversary. We had stayed here even before we were married and a couple of times since. It was more about the location but it wasnice to meet the new owners in their new venture.
