Miles and miles of beautiful beach. Malachite beach doesn't allow cars, if you want to drive on the beach go further to South Beach. Very nice facilities at the visitors center.

The marshes on the Laguna Madre side are beautiful in spring. If the wind isn't high enough be sure to bring copious amounts of strong bug spray though!
#beach The Padre Island National Seashore separates the Gulf of Mexico from the Laguna Madre, one of a few hypersaline lagoons in the world. The park protects 70 miles of coastline, dunes, prairies, and wind tidal flats teeming with life. It also has beautiful stretches of road with road access to the beach. Very scenic and very enjoyable!!!
