Loved staying at Lively. It’s was peaceful. Loved the beach access and most of the staff was really great. Our room could have been alittle cleaner but for the most part we had an amazing stay. We would definitely go back.

My room did not have a beach view. ($100 extra) It was a sand view. This was the second time giving this place a chance. Property is nice but no beach view and the beach access was not maintained. We had to go down a bunch of sand and it wasn't safe

This property is a hidden gem. It's such a nice, quiet property with active management arranging little parties and activities to improve the guest experience. In terms of the beach, you've got a nice boardwalk direct to the white-ish sand. The 2-3 story high sand dunes obscure a direct beach view from your room but also block the intense wind. Pool is great with bathrooms. Room was well appointed with extra beach towels and plenty of soap, etc. Checkin was totally self-service and painless. If you're a fisherman, you're within walking distance to a fantastic spot at the North Packery Channel Jetty or really anywhere in the area along the long channel. We saw people pulling large sheepshead out at will, and I'm sure all sport fish can be had there. We saw plenty of baby sea turtles from the jetty as well. This is a fun, quaint little property that treated us very well and deserves more foot traffic than it seems to be currently getting. The units are also very well designed. Great windows, light, layout, etc.

The receptionist was extremely rude, which made us feel that we had made a mistake booking this place as soon as we arrived. We were also required to wait four hours to check in. The hotel offered a scavenger hunt game for the kids. My daughter spent a significant amount of time completing all the tasks so she could receive the prize. However, when she went to claim it, the receptionist was again very rude and did not even seem to care whether the tasks had been completed or not. At the very least, it would have been nice if the staff had shown a little interest or encouragement, especially in front of a child. There’s something missing here in this place! Have an open mind if you decide to go.
The deck had this huge screw out what I stepped on it and hurt my foot.

Room was clean and comfortable. Very cute property. Felt very safe and pool and fire pit were great spaces to relax. The boardwalk to beach is fabulous and so convenient. The website led me to believe there was a restaurant on site - there is none but the main office has basics and snacks for sale. Plenty of restaurants and grocery stores nearby.

The room was clean and comfortable. We were able to check in early. The pool area was nice. A short walk over the dunes gets you to the beach. There are several nice restaurants in the area.

For the price, I expected an iron and ironing board to be available in the room instead of having to request one. I had to call the front desk to ask if they even had one, then walk up to retrieve it myself. On top of that, I was asked to return the ironing board before checking out, which felt inconvenient. The mattress felt very cheap and was uncomfortable. There were chips of paint throughout the room, and the door window was severely dirty and honestly an eyesore. When I went to use one of the towels that were placed on the bench, it looked like there was a piece of s* on it, which was extremely disgusting. Because I was on a time crunch, I left it there and checked out. I’m honestly glad I didn’t end up booking two nights. Access to the beach was also frustrating. There is a large, steep hill of sand directly in front of the stairs, making it very difficult for some people to get through. These are all issues that could easily be fixed, but overall the experience was disappointing

We booked 4 different rooms with a large party and one room wasn’t cleaned before arrival, the other room did not have a functional AC the first day of our stay and we didn’t get a new room until 11 pm. Additionally, the heated pool, fire pit, and poolside lights were not working with no notification to us prior to arrival which was our primary reason for booking this in December. We also did not receive any sort of compensation for this or credit toward a future stay. I have been to this resort before and had a wonderful experience in the past but was really disappointed that after I brought a large group and spent a lot of money this was not the same experience.
