"Room with pool view was lovely. Very quiet area. Rooms really large and beds were so comfy. I could not fault this hotel. Would stay here again and recommend it to friends and family. Only thing is that there were restaurants across road and you could not access them across the busy hiway. These restaurants should have service from Grand Palace to their restaurants. Could not order taxi for 200 m ride. It would benefit these restaurants as they were really good."

We checked out the Hyatt and the InterContinental hotels nearby, but for a number of reasons we decided to go back to this hotel. The staff is extraordinarily helpful and friendly, and we give it our highest recommendation."

"The resort was beautiful. The staff were very friendly and helpful and the food was great. There were several walkable restaurants nearby and a laundry as well. Only comment was that they did not resupply pool towels throughout the day so you had to go and request one. "

"We just stayed for 8 nights at the Sankara for our honeymoon and absolutely loved everything about it. To start, we had a one bedroom pool villa (Bima) that was gorgeous. It had the perfect amount of privacy and comfort. The cleaning staff were great and made our room like new each and every day. The staff were excellent. Always greeting as we came in and out without missing a beat making sure we had everything we needed. 2 staff members we’d like to point out are Ronney and Roseana. Ronney is a driver and he was the best. He showed us around all the local food spots, the cultural places and also some fun places Bali has to offer. He was with us the whole time taking pictures and taught us a lot about the Bali culture. Thanks Ronney!! Roseana was a masseuse and she gave me the best massage I’ve ever had. I recommend the spa. It was worth every dollar. Bar drinks were great, the food was excellent for both breakfast and dinner. We give the Sankara a 10/10. Thanks for having us and making our honeymoon as amazing as it was!"

"We only stayed 3 nights and wish we stayed more, beautiful resort, awesome pools, staff are fantastic, pool food is awesome and breakfast is unbelievable. Rooms are slightly tired if I had to say anything critical but still very nice. Hotel only 5mins walk from main st, you must try Santorini for Greek or Massimo for Italian, both unbelievably awesome restaurants food was amazing"
