"Amazing Pool and Rooftop Bar"

"Title: Great family-friendly hotel with an amazing kids club! Rating: 4/5 We had a wonderful stay at the Phuket Marriott Merlin Beach Hotel. The hotel is great — very, very family-friendly, and the staff are super nice. We especially loved the kids club, which provides supervised activities for children aged 4 to 12. It gave us parents a few hours of free time to enjoy the spa and relax on our own. The food was good overall. We booked a half-board package that included one meal and four drinks per day, which was convenient. The only downside was the buffet at The Market — the food seemed quite stale, and there were flies flying around. Apart from the buffet, the other restaurant outlets served pretty good food. Despite that, we really liked the hotel and enjoyed our stay. Would still recommend it for families!"

"Building looks new renovated, feels good and whole area kept clean. Front desk staff are warm and willing to help. Have a small swimming pool on the roof with restaurant. Compared with the neighborhood, the breakfast is acceptable. Nice hotel if you need to stay one night before departure next morning!"

"I stayed at this hotel for a few days and overall had a pleasant experience. The location is quite convenient, about a 30‑minute drive from Phuket International Airport. The environment is peaceful and relaxing, and the sea view from the room is wonderful — perfect for a quiet getaway. Breakfast was decent, though the variety was somewhat limited. When checking in, the hotel required a cash deposit and wouldn’t accept a credit card at first, which was inconvenient. After I explained I didn’t have enough cash, they finally allowed a credit‑card deposit instead. Room service is available if you prefer to stay in, but the menu options are quite limited. The restaurant food is actually better. One time when I ordered room service, the staff asked me to pay in cash, but I told them to charge it to my room — it seems the hotel prefers cash in general, which was a bit confusing. The hotel has its own private beach, reachable by a shuttle that takes about five minutes down the hill. You can simply tell the front desk when you’d like to go. The beach is quiet and clean — a nice spot to relax. Overall, this hotel is a great place if you’re looking for a peaceful and relaxing holiday. While some procedures (like the deposit and payment method) could be improved, the setting and atmosphere make it a pleasant place to stay. "
