Hotel was about average. It was clean, no frills. Staff did their best with the idea of breakfast but it was cooked on an outside grill. Not the end of the world but a little unexpected. At over $1000 for a three night stay I'd say we overpaid but that's the way it goes when NASCAR is running at Talladaga I suppose. I've stayed in worse places in my life so for me it was just OK.

The bed was comfortable and the room and bathroom were clean. Several houseflies as fellow occupants however. It's not the Ritz Carlton, but decent value for what I paid. I didn't use the pool or spend much time on the patio overlooking the river, but they looked quite lovely. Breakfast was very basic, but okay.

Great Place !

The pool being under maintenance was disheartening after traveling a long ways, other than that it was great ! The nice man at the counter was very kind and friendly, he let our grandson fish on the property as well. The room was very clean and comfortable, will definitely stay again if passing through !
