I liked that there was a kitchen with all the things you’d need to cook a meal, comfortable tables and chairs inside and outside to eat or just be there. It was quiet, guests were respectful of others. Loved that we were steps away from the beach. My only wish is for there to be a washing machine and dryer available, It’s on the pricier side but for how close to the water it is, it’s worth it, if you can afford it

The presidentail suite is definitely "paradise on the beach" as advertised. Unit was well stocked and comfortable--lots of towels, pillows, and even an extra comforter if it got cool. The outside sitting area is wonderful--comfortable Muskoka chair and the beautiful view of the Port Elgin beach and sunsets.

I had the pleasure of staying at the Paradise Inn On The Beach on July 10th. First of all the owners were very pleasant to deal with and it made you feel very welcome. We received parking on site and the facility and the inn are just across from the beach so we were able to walk over to what was a beautiful beach. We were only a short drive away from the downtown area of Port Elgin so that was convenient as well. The rooms were very nice and the deck out front was an added bonus for watching the sunset. If you're going to Port Elgin and need a place for you and your wife to stay or your family, I would suggest this as it's a great spot.

Be sure to take the cancellation insurance. The owner doesn’t budge on this and when you call him he just says that you need to work with Expedia. Generally the check in process worked pretty well.
