10/10 Excellent

"The staff was very nice. Front desk and dining staff were professional and helpful. The breakfast was good but not great. The location was very good. The parking and check in time was a bit strict. Although our room was ready for us, they would not let us check in prior to 2:30. I am sure it is a rule put in place by the management. Not a good rule. Check in at 3 and out at 11:00 am just doesn't seem fair. The place is very nice and I would recommend it to anyone. Cheers"

"The rooms were very clean. Amenities were great. The front desk staff was VERY helpful. Double duty front desk/concierge. They had an English-speaking front desk person who helped us check after arriving a little after midnight. Our flight was cancelled and we couldn't catch the airport shuttle to the hotel (check the shuttle schedule). However, we caught the shuttle back to the CTS airport (one block away at the Ana Crowne). Recommend that you pay when you leave the shuttle. The hotel is located about 5 blocks from Nijo Market and Tanukikoji shopping mall. 2 blocks from Odori park. There are a lot of eating places that are close by. A must eat is at the Osteria restaurant located at one end of the hotel. We can't wait to be back!"

2/10 Terrible

"The worst and most uncomfortable hotel I have ever stayed at in Japan. The carpets and curtains were extremely dirty, with visible mould on both the curtains and in the shower room. Considering the price of hotels in Japan, this hotel was not particularly cheap either, especially as breakfast was not included. I had the worst two nights of sleep during my stay here."
