Hotel Monterey Edelhof Sapporo

"The onsen is great, with jacuzzi and sauna facilities, but the outdoor pool is quite small. Next to the onsen is a spa lounge, a good place to relax after hot bath, and there is free flow of soft drinks. During happy hours, from 2-8 pm, there is free beer too. Best part about the hotel is that it is next to ANA Crowne Plaza Hotel where the airport bus has its first pick up point, so a very convenient location. The airport bus drop off is in front of Hotel Monterey Edelhof Sapporo. Hotel is within walking distance to Sapporo JR station where there are many shopping malls. It is also walkable to Tanukikoji Shopping Street with lots of shops, as well as Nijo Market for fresh seafood."

"We really enjoyed the space. It was new, clean and well equipped with everything that we needed for our 5 nights stay. The space had two double beds, couch, tv, kitchen, laundry. The only thing we would have liked is if they had bigger beds. Two double beds for four people reservation is too small."

"A fantastic base for exploring Sapporo. The hotel is modern, stylish, and conveniently located within walking distance of many attractions and dining spots. The rooms are compact, could use a humidifier but thoughtfully designed, and the rooftop onsen offers a wonderful place to unwind after a day out. The staff were helpful as our child was ill and we needed to find medical services and they made calls to hospitals with English capabilities."

"The rooms are very outdated especially the bathrooms. The bathrooms had pink tiles and smelled like mold. It is not what we expected, the strong was so strong we had to keep the door closed. We requested to change room the next day, staff wasn’t too helpful. It looks much better in pictures, not what we expected."
