「 Beautiful getaway for the weekend. We enjoyed the property tour and ghost tour staff was incredible and knowledgeable. 1796 restaurant was incredible. They really made our anniversary special. We stayed in the Judge Clark Woodruff Suite and definitely experienced several paranormal encounters. Definitely worth a stay if you like ghost stories and paranormal activities. 」

「Staff were very polite - but at check-in would have appreciated being told about amenities, eg breakfast, bar times , food, pool … instead nothing .. just given key to room and asked for card - i had to ask everything and was given very vague information. I’m sure its not normal protocol as most are probably return customer - but it would be nice to be offered information instead of having to ask everything … 」

「The hotel appears outdated, and cleanliness is a concern throughout the property. Basic health and sanitation standards do not seem to be consistently maintained. The complimentary breakfast lacked proper sanitary handling, giving the impression it was simply set out without attention to cleanliness. Additionally, the water quality and plumbing suggest aging infrastructure, further reflecting the need for updates and improved maintenance. 」
