I had an absolutely wonderful experience at the Comfort Inn in Orillia thanks to Alex at the front desk. From the moment I arrived, Alex was incredibly welcoming, professional, and attentive. It’s rare to come across someone who genuinely cares about making guests feel comfortable, but Alex truly goes above and beyond.
Their customer service was exceptional — friendly, efficient, and thoughtful in every interaction. They made the check-in process seamless and were happy to answer questions and ensure everything about my stay was perfect.
Alex is a fantastic representative of the Comfort Inn brand, and their positive attitude really stood out. Because of service like this, I would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend this location to others.
Thank you, Alex, for making my stay such a pleasant one!"
"We stayed in the jacuzzi suite which was perfect for a cold winter's day. It was a beautiful bit of luxury and had a fireplace as well. I was a little undewhelmed by the upgraded breakfast we paid extra for. They used no seasonings at all so it was very bland. Next time I might have just stayed with the continental, but totally would stay here again if looking for an extra special room to share with my spouse. "
"The checkin staff was amazing. Ive stayed here dozens of times thru the years. Always a nice place to go. The TV in our room only got 2 channels, and our air conditioner didnt work. This place is sadly doing downhill. The sauna in the mens changeroom doesnt work anymore. And hasnt for a long time, but the one in the womens does. Beds were clean, had a good night of sleep. The fridge in the room we had (room 108) didnt work properly. Cant believe theyre letting this place go like this. The hottub was absolutely gross, the pool is loosing all the paint in the bottom. Paint peeling from the bridge over the pool on the bottom along with rust makes for a sore and sad sight. Ill still come back, as i really like this place, and the room was clean, but they really need to start doing repairs and maintenance on the property. Wondering if they may end up having to close their doors."

"The room was nice and clean until we pulled out the couch bed and noticed it was full of crumbs! Of course it was past 10pm no one was available brought the kids to the pool it was mediocre but the jacuzzi was filthy and the jets did not work all in all the stay was quite disappointing "
"Staff was great, room smelled like cigarettes, tub faucet leaked, water from tap was brown, tiles falling off, bed was comfortable and linens were clean. Breakfast was decent. There were teams staying there, and the children were running and screaming for hours! Beginning at 7am. Nobody did anything about it. Will not stay there again. Again the staff were very nice! Not their fault the place is not kept up, it’s old but doesn’t have to be that bad. Not happy "
