This is a modest, dated hotel in a prime location right on the beach. If you don't plan to spend a lot of time in the room, it should be acceptable for most people. Bed was very comfortable, furniture is old with peeling or missing veneer, bathroom okay though the tiny french doors into toilet/shower room were awkward. As most reviews say, the breakfast buffet is excellent, especially the made to order omelettes. I reserved a room with 1 queen bed & upon arrival asked for an upper floor on the beach side if possible. In spite of the photos on Expedia, I was told all rooms on upper floors have 2 beds, so switched to a room with 2 double beds on 2nd floor. View from the "balcony" (which is about 18 inches deep, so no room to sit out there) was of parking lot & beach to the side. The hotel did not appear to be fully booked & I wonder if they prioritize requests from guests who book direct through Comfort hotels. The staff were very polite but also denied my request to check out 1 hour later.
