"We (2 adults and 2 kids) had a pleasant stay at Stumpfields. It is 500 meters above Ooty town and within half an hour driving distance. This picturesque place is quiet, serene and well-maintained. Plenty of small and medium sized birds can be seen in and around the property. Breakfast prepared by the staff was very good and homely and the rooms are well maintained. "The rooms are clean and spacious. Everything else is stretched : the staff and the amenities. There is no view of the hills or any outside view. Just rooms Amenities are just a tick in the box. All make shift. A store room has been converted into the Table tennis room. Similar for the pool and other activities. The restaurant / cafe is too small. Gets overcrowded and cannot even walk inside .I paid around 14 k for a room per night. No value for the money I paid"
