"There were shops near by by we didn't visit any"

"I called ahead to schedule early check-in and when we arrived, our room wasn't ready and we had to wait an hour for a clean room. The valet was overpriced ($30 + tip/day) and there was consistently nobody at the valet stand. The pool was closed long-term for renovations while we were there and the fitness center door was locked when I tried to work out at 8pm, so amenities were non-existent. We also tried to schedule late checkout for noon, but were woken with the doorbell before 10:30am by housekeeping. Overall, it was a very disappointing stay for such a seemingly prestigious hotel. I will not be returning or recommending a stay to anyone I know traveling to Chattanooga."
