「I absolutely love this hotel. It's beautiful. However, Downtown Wichita is deeply unsafe. I kid you not, on 1 September, 2025, at 2AM, right outside of my window I was woken by gunfire. Not a few rounds, but active gunfire. Police of course stormed the scene and sirens went on for 30 minutes. I learned later that morning a man was killed outside the bar across the street.... Travel to Wichita at your own risk. 」
