This place must have been charming, in its hay day. But. Not now. It needs a lot of TLC. Our room (#15) was dark, dark, dark. One of my pet peeves when I travel is there's never enough light. Well, this place was the worst! Two little lamps in the kitchenette, positioned such that they were useless. If you wanted to cook anything, there wasn't any way to be sure that you cleaned it all, because the lightbulb behind you created a shadow over the kitchen sink. And, the owners are chintzy... two small glasses, two giant mugs, 2 dishes, 2 forks...you get the picture. NO coffee pot. Just instant coffee packets for sale. Two small lamps on either side of the bed with 15W bulbs in it.
The bathroom had such poor lighting. Taking a shower, in the dark, is no fun....and there's no fan in the bathroom. If you'd like to have high humidity create soggy towels, a mirror that can't be used, residual moisture everywhere....well then, this is the place for you!
No electrical outlets (another pet peeve), except on one side of the bed. In order to plug in your phone to charge it on the side of the bed that did NOT have an electrical outlet...it had to be done using the plug at the opposite side of the room. Beneath the table provided as a desk. We had to crawl under the table each time we wanted to plug in/unplug the phone. And only one plug as the other was being used for the TV.
And don't get me started on the heat (as in non existent).
