Went to Inkcarceration Festival and it included a tour of the prison. Be prepared to walk a lot.

My son & I went to the Ghost Hunt at OSR. The Inn was only about 5 minutes away, and very easy to find. Which is important, when you're leaving the prison at 3:00 AM. Great hamburgers at the bar & grill in front of the Inn.

The Richland Carrousel is the first new, hand-carved carrousel to be built and operated in the United States since the 1930’s.

All 52 figures were designed, carved and painted by Carousel Works of Mansfield. There are 30 horses and 22 menagerie figures, including four bears, four ostriches, four cats, four rabbits, a goat, giraffe, lion, tiger, zebra and a mythical hippocampus

Built in 1926 for Mr. and Mrs. Charles Kelley King, the 47-acre estate opened as a public garden in 1953, one year after Mr. King's death. Mr. King, who was married and divorced twice, never had children. He left most of his estate to the private foundation that continues to operate Kingwood Center today. Mr. King made his fortune in Mansfield, Ohio working with the Ohio Brass Company. Hired as the company's first electrical engineer in 1893, he led Ohio Brass into new ventures, particularly the manufacture of electrical fittings for railroads and trolleys. Mr. King eventually became President and Chairman of the Board of Ohio Brass.
