Independent October Mountain State Forest hotels

"Great stay-- would stay here again-- safe, nice welcome from Cameron at front desk, room was clean and cozy. Bed was very comfortable. Didn't have breakfast. I usually stay in Pittsfield at a hotel that has given me a discount since March when my mother was put into a nursing home. I normally try to come down twice a month from CNY--needless to say it is expensive for me.. Random question-- do you offer discounts?"

"Room adequate for a night stay. Breakfast service was odd. A maintenance person gave us one napkin & silverware service for 2 people. Hard boiled eggs brought still in the shell w/no way to rinse off the shells once peeled. "

"Beautiful little lake off the beaten path. This hotel is cozy comfy. The staff is very nice and helpful. Breakfast is good and with a view of the lake. "

"It was very nice, clean and perfect location! Walked to all. My only issue was the ac did not work but I opened the windows so all was good. I would stay here again without a doubt. I recommend it as well. "

"Room was comfortable and clean. The Inn is beautiful. We went to the Lions Den both evenings and had a drink and listened to live music. We couldn’t get a table at the restaurant but there are other good options in walking distance. The only disappointment was that the fireplace in our room was not working. "
