It was not a good place to stay the night, alot of homeless and people on drugs, the door was not even closing right, we had to put a chair on it to feel better but not good, i would tell people to pay alittle more and get the better place, chame on the owners of these places they just put the money in their pocket and let the place be a dump.

Perfect location for the 78 & I-5 is close by. This Motel 6 is my favorite motel/hotel to stay at due to the friendliness of all the staff. The rooms are renovated with nice mattresses that I do not wake up in the morning with aches, stiffness in muscles and the bed pillows provide comfort, also. There is ample parking on all sides of the property with plenty of handicap spots.

The young lady at front desk is the best! I have stayed here several times in the past and my check in is always consistently friendly. I get a smile, a greeting, efficiency and the young lady always remembers my name. I prefer the third floor if possible and she remembers the room numbers where I like to stay and my car close to the elevator. I’m respectful and I don’t wear my shoes in my room. That makes me and whoever’s below me happy and well rested. Not at a Motel 6, but a hotel stay a long time ago I’m certain whoever was above me was tap dancing and using the desk chair in their routine all night. Thanks Motel 6 Oceanside, Plaza for being so kind and thoughtful! The rooms are nicely renovated with new heat & a/c units.

Check-in was easy and simple. The main reason we chose this property was first; the price $100 a night, second; the location, distance to Legoland, so of course we didn’t expect valet or room service. The beds were amazingly firm and the shower was hot-hot which was much needed after our long days walking through Legoland. My 3-stars is based on the fact that we requested a first floor room since my husband is in a medical boot (they put us on the third floor) and we did not figure out which was the third floor elevator button until check-out. Also, we only had 2 towels in our room which were more like face towels and when I went to request more they did not have any available. ALL the staff was super friendly and there was other families at the hotel though I am assuming there are also some rooms that are being used as full-time residences since there was home decor in some of the windows.
Third floor button is the “Access Off” with the 2 arrows.

The staff was great, the overall stay was not good, they had unsecured internet that never worked, the blankets on the bed had a bunch of cigarette burns holes all over them, why would they re-use them like that? The surrounding activity was also not good, this is the worst experience stay I've had.
