"The room was nice and clean. The staff were friendly. It was just me and my dog. I reserved this hotel because I was attending a 3-hour wedding reception in Lake Como and they were dog friendly. However, their pet policy, which is not available on their website, stated pet guests cannot be left unattended in the room. I didn’t find this out until I checked in. This meant I couldn’t eat in the restaurant or leave her for a few hours to attend the event. I had to scramble to find another option for my dog. She is well-behaved, potty-trained, and is not a barker. With me just traveling, I didn’t have another option to have someone stay with her in the room. Thankfully, a friend’s daughter who lives in Belmar said she could stay at her house during the party. Otherwise, I would have rated the property a 5. "

"Beautiful Victorian hotel in a lovely neighborhood of Ocean Grove. The breakfast is extensive, with quiches, avocado toast, breads, fruit parfait, etc. Many rooms have balconies & patios, great for relaxing. A block from the boardwalk and walking distance to nice restaurants."
