This is my second time staying at the Commander Beach House. I like this place for the convenience to the boardwalk. It's very simple setup having basic amenities(refrigerator & microwave) which is all I need on my weekend get away. I will be using Commander Hotel on my next visit to Ocean City.

The customer service was excellent, the room was very clean, and the location cannot be beat. However, the room itself was weird, located right next to a staircase, and everytime someone went up or down, my headboard would rattle. And there is no sound proofing what so ever. Heard the girl next to me singing in the shower, and every conversation that was coming down the hallway. I'd stay there again, but would pay extra not to be in the beach house.

Was a nice stay for a pretty good price. Convienient walking distance for the boardwalk etc. The negatives would be the building is "loud." Footsteps are amplified, door closures are loud etc. Even when people aren't trying to be. No front desk, all the info etc is across the street at the main hotel so you're a bit on your own unless you go over there. Lastly, the parking is TIGHT and not many spots, though I didn't ask if you could use the main hotels parking or not. Overall, good stay though.

The room was not cleaned properly, the bathroom light flickered the entire time it was turned on, so bad that it could cause someone to have a seizure. The bathroom sink barely had any pressure. The sheets were too small for the bed and were not clean. The only good thing was the pool and the quick walk to the boardwalk

uncomfortable and too small as well, they have the lil refrigerator and microwave on the back of the door because there is no space on that room I will never recommend this hotel, the pictures they show is not what the room looks like, then I called Expedia to get help and they didn’t help at all

Room walls are like paper. You hear everything like it is in the room with you. People shouting and making noise all through the night. No staff onsite. Parking limited and tight. Room tiny and dirty. $200 a nite is ridiculous. Stay somewhere else if you want to get sleep.
