Oceans Calling Festival Weekend

The location was perfect! Quiet and easy parking. The room was simple yet all we needed. The bed was awful. Like sleeping on concrete. It was very creeky. Otherwise a very nice stay.

This is my second time staying at the Commander Beach House. I like this place for the convenience to the boardwalk. It's very simple setup having basic amenities(refrigerator & microwave) which is all I need on my weekend get away. I will be using Commander Hotel on my next visit to Ocean City.

The room was overall very spacious and clean. Kitchen was equipped with all items necessary for cooking. Staff was generally nice. We only had an issue with one gentleman when checking in that charged some guest $20 a day for parking but did not charge other guest. Ultimately we got a refund for that. If we would have to pay to park at the hotel we already paid 100’s of dollar for a room to stay at, I would not return. Otherwise no issues with the hotel or location. Very close to the boardwalk and other attractions.

Clean, good location, but pretty basic.

Stayed a couple nights over Labor Day weekend. Check-in was great. I called about an hour early (because we were there) to ask about check-in and was told the room was ready. It was a good place to lay our heads for two nights. Clean, good location (about right in the middle of the boardwalk), nice to have a fridge. But the room and bathroom is small and pretty basic. Overall, no complaints. But if you're looking for something more boujee, you should probably look elsewhere.

This place was a good deal and so close to the beach. The front desk woman “Livia” was extremely polite and helpful. Housekeeping came and checked on us every other day to see if we needed anything. I booked the king efficiency which had its own kitchen and the room had its own pots pans/utensils. The beach was only a quick walk across the street which we enjoyed. Parking was no issue as the hotel wasn’t busy and I had a spot right in front of my room. The walls are a little thin but I brought my fan and it kept the volume tuned out. Definitely would consider staying here again and would recommend to a friend.
