「Fabulous location with a beautiful ocean view, and it’s right next to the excellent d-day museum. No parking on site, but that’s not a big issue. There’s a public parking lot a two minute walk away, for a very reasonable price. The room was small and the most bothersome thing was the heavy cobwebs at the window - they could clean those windows once a month, perhaps.」

「This property was absolutely beautiful and quaint. We stayed in the Catherine suite which had its own private green room. It was a real treat! I enjoyed listening to the rain and sipping tea in the early morning in the green room. Our shower was fantastic and the bathroom was newly remodeled. The property has a lot of history and preserves the charm of a real French country Chateau. The grounds are gorgeous and our hosts allowed us to spend the evening exploring the park and fruit orchard....

「Really beautiful hotel. The rooms are nice and clean. The bathrooms are large. The restaurant on site is wonderful for a special dinner. The breakfast was very nice with many traditional French options including local cheese. I didn’t use the pool, but it was very nice. The spa has 2 nice jacuzzi’s that are large. Everything was well maintained.」

When I said I was travelling with 2 motorbikes, they were able to reserve me a covered parking space in their courtyard for the duration of my stay. The exterior looks rustic, but the interior was modern. It is quiet as it is set off the main road. The room was comfortable and nicely decorated, also there was a seperate shower room and toilet.
